Lake Forest Park Civic Club
If own and you live in a home that is within the boundaries of the deeded area then you may be eligible for membership. Please review the map to help determine eligibility.  Clicking on the link below will initiate a .pdf map file to assist you in determining the potential for eligibility to join as a regular member, an associate member in perpetuity, or an associate member. This is a rather large file so please be patient while it downloads. It is provided as a reference but may not be entirely accurate. If you own and reside in a home on a property boarding one of the designated areas, you may want to inquire with the club to determine more specifically your status with regards to membership.

The white shaded areas of the map are within the deeded area and may be eligible for regular membership.

The yellow shaded areas of the map are not within the deeded area but may be eligible for an associate membership in perpetuity. This is similar to a regular membership but these members may not hold Executive positions on the Board of Trustees.

The grey shaded areas of the map are not within the deeded area. Individuals within these areas and beyond the area shown may apply for an associate membership with LFPCC if available. Associate membership application periods are announced through the club newsletter and website in Spring if they are available. The application process for associate membership is detailed in those postings.

For membership inquiries, please email: LFPCCMembership@gmail.com

The Civic Club of Lake Forest Park property was granted by the North Seattle Improvement Company and the Civic Club was incorporated on August 22, 1924.  The area is approximately 3.18 acres, located at the foot of Ballinger Way N.E. on Lake Washington and the legal description reads:  Beach Tract, Block 6, Lake Forest Park Waterfront Addition.

The Club is a non-profit 501c4 organization designated to act as trustee and, as such, has the duty of maintaining and preserving the common property.  There is a reciprocal right to reimbursement from the beneficial owners.  It belongs to all property owners and does enhance their own property values in the following areas:

Board Meetings are held in the clubhouse on the third Tuesday of each month from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Members are welcome to attend.

Regular Membership:  Regular membership may be granted to only those properties that are owner occupied within the deeded area.  Renters that reside within the deeded area will not be granted regular membership.  Persons that own property within the deeded area but reside outside the deeded area will not be granted regular membership until they occupy their property within the deeded area.  Dependents of regular members will not be granted membership once they no longer reside with the regular member. If any questions arise during the renewal process, the Lake Forest Park Civic Club retains the right to have the applicant produce a copy of their deed and proof of residence. Regular members may volunteer to serve on the Board of Trustees and may function in an Executive capacity if elected to do so by the membership.

Associate Membership:  Any person who is not an owner of property but resides within the deeded area or any person who does not reside in the deeded area may become an associate member if such memberships are available.  Associate members may serve on the Board of Trustees but may not function in an Executive capacity on the Board. Associate members must remain in good standing with annual renewal of their membership or risk losing it without replacement.

Associate Member in Perpetuity (AMP):  Any person who is an owner of property and resides at that property within the Associate Member in Perpetuity areas of the map may become an AMP member. This membership is comparable to a regular deeded membership with regards to transferability upon sale of the property but AMP members may not hold Executive positions on the Board of Trustees.
