Start at the CIvic Club and make your way to your street to see if your property falls within in the boundaries of the deeded area.

 

The property was granted by the North Seattle Improvement Company and the Civic Club was incorporated on August 22, 1924.  The area is approximately 3.18 acres, located at the foot of Ballinger Way N.E. on Lake Washington and the legal description reads:  Beach Tract, Block 6, Lake Forest Park Waterfront Addition.

The Club is a non-profit organization designated to act as trustee and, as such, has the duty of maintaining and preserving the common property.  There is a reciprocal right to reimbursement from the beneficial owners.  It belongs to all property owners and does enhance their own property values in the following areas:

Regular Membership:  Any person who is an owner of property and resides in the deeded land area.  Regular membership will be granted to only those properties that are owner occupied within the deeded area.  Renters that reside within the deeded area will not be granted membership.  Persons that own property within the deeded area but reside outside the deeded area will be placed on the associate waiting list and not be granted regular membership until they occupy their property within the deeded area.  Dependents of regular members will not be granted membership once they no longer reside with the regular member.  Once dependents move, they will be placed on the associate waiting list unless they own and occupy their own property within the deeded area.  If any questions arise during the renewal process, the Lake Forest Park Civic Club retains the right to have the applicant produce a copy of their deed for proof of residence. 
Associate Membership:  Any person who is not an owner of property but resides within the deeded area or any person who does not reside in the deeded area.  This is to include any person who owns property within the deeded area but does not live in the deeded area.

Club Ground Rules

Parking:
You must have a current parking sticker permanently attached to your vehicle to park at the civic club. Guests or non-members are not allowed to park at the civic club. As a courtesy and for safety, non-member guests may drop off passengers, but under no circumstances is a non-member or guest to park at the civic club. Improperly parked vehicles without current parking stickers may be towed at the owners’ expense. Parking of tow vehicles with trailers is extremely limited. Please do your best to conserve available space.
 
Guests:
Four guests are allowed entrance without charge per membership whey they accompany a member into the club. The four guests are allowed per membership not per member. A dependant is allowed to bring in two guests. If two dependants from the same membership come to the club, they are allowed a total of two guests only, not two guests per dependant. Guest brought into the club by a dependant will count towards the four guests per membership maximum. Members may not bring four guests and leave them at the club with only the dependant. If the member leaves, only two guests are allowed to stay with the dependant. The guests are allowed to stay only while the member is present at the club. A member may bring more than four guests at a charge of $3.00 per guest. All guests must park outside the club (Absolutely no parking on Beach Drive).
 
Cookshack:
The cookshack area is available for small family and personal occasions for up to 20 people (Total of Guests and Members). The area is available Monday through Friday, 11:00AM to 8:00 PM and Saturdays, 10:00 AM to 4:00PM. The cookshack area is available for up to 4 hours total per day and no more than 2 hours by each individual group. Persons reserving the cookshack area will have the use of the BBQ and BBQ pits although these areas will also be available to the general membership during your time. All non-member guests must park outside the club (Absolutely no parking on Beach Drive). Guests will not be charged the $3.00 guest fee while attending the function.
 
Boat Ramp/Launching:
We would like to thank the boaters for your efforts in not powering your boats onto your trailers. Similarly, powering off your trailer is not allowed. Please use your winch to trailer your boat. Members powering on will be given one warning. If they power on/off again, their boating privileges will be revoked. Boats leaving the water have the right-of-way over boats launching. This will help to open up parking space for the boats launching. Please use the dock next to the ramp to prepare your boat for your trailer. Boats are to be trailered in the order they are lined up at the dock. Please do not cut in front of the boats that are closer to the dock. Please drop someone off at the dock to get your tow vehicle ready to so you can quickly pull your boat out when it is your turn. Pull your boat off the ramp as soon as you can and complete your tie downs and clean up off the ramp so the next person can proceed. Please obey these rules and the officials of the civic club when launching or removing your boat. Please help to keep boating at the civic club a pleasurable experience.
 
Dock Policy:
No bicycles, skateboards, scooters allowed on the dock. Please use the bike rack or leave them at the front of the dock. This is to protect the dock surface and structure. Common sense and safety are a priority. Do not leave litter on the dock or allow it to enter the water. Please secure your boats or personal watercraft appropriately making good use of available cleats.
 
Privacy Policy:
Members have a reasonable expectation of privacy while on the grounds. Please limit the use of photography, video, and audio recording equipment to subjects that agree to being recorded. If you are uncertain, always ask individuals if their participation is agreeable.
 
Pet Policy: No pets allowed at the club.
 
Noise Policy:
Personal stereos and boat stereos are allowed but volume levels must be kept within reasonable limits. Any member has the right to request volume be reduced and this must be honored.
 
Smoking Policy:
Smoking is limited to the marked areas by the water fountain at the back of the club and the west end of the patio.
 
Drinking and Drugs:
No underage drinking on the club grounds, no illegal drugs, no sharing of prescription drugs.
